The Division of Experimental Pathology was founded in 1996 as a research division of the Department of Pathology under the National Development Plan 7 of the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University. The main objectives of this division are 1) to conduct high-quality research in academic pathology, with a primary emphasis on cellular and molecular mechanisms of tropical diseases and related cancer, 2) to provide strong predoctoral and postdoctoral training through related graduate programs and 3) to strengthen research capacity and capability of the staff by multidisciplinary collaborations both within the university and internationally.
